Some call them ‘form work-flow’ and others call them ‘dynamic-forms’, but we simply call them ‘Rules’. If you are an AppCan user, you will know what we’re talking about, because users have lobbied hard for this feature to be introduced.

Well, we hope your patience has been rewarded!  We’ve deliberately taken our time – a lot of it – figuring out the best way to deliver a clean, intuitive ‘Rules’ interface. We looked around for inspiration too, but quite frankly, we didn’t like what we saw.

Consequently, our new data collector ‘Rules’ interface is a triumph of logical interaction and powerful rule operators, all presented in our unique AppCan format.  You won’t find confusing workflow ‘mind-mapping’ processes, or a jot of coding in order to achieve beautiful flowing data collection forms for your mobile field force to use.

And it’s our AppCan Mobile App users that benefit from the second part of this release, ‘AppCan XP v2.1’ (available on iOS and Android), which has undergone significant under-the-bonnet upgrades in order to handle the multitude of rules you might wish to throw at it.

PS. There’s also some bonus ‘enabling’ development buried in this release of ‘AppCan XP’ too, but more on that in December & January 2021!
